MSNBC's Morning Joe reacted Thursday to the three most common words people think of when Hillary Clinton comes to mind being, in order, "liar," "dishonest" and "untrustworthy," according to a new Quinnipiac poll.
The question did not give any choices for words, showing how cemented the perception of Clinton as deceitful has become with the public in the wake of her private email scandal.
"These are unprompted, by the way," MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said.
The leading answer for Republican frontrunner Donald Trump was "arrogant," and for Jeb Bush it was "Bush."
Former George W. Bush adviser Nicolle Wallace mentioned those word associations were preferable to being called a "liar."
