Clinton Campaign Swears Hillary Has ‘No Other Undisclosed Condition’

September 12, 2016

Hillary Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said Monday on MSNBC that he could personally attest that Clinton has "no other undisclosed condition" with her health.

The Clinton team announced on Sunday that the Democratic candidate was diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier. However, that news did not come out until after Clinton left a 9/11 memorial event on Sunday complaining of feeling overheated, and was videoed nearly collapsing before being helped into a van by her security detail.

The campaign drew criticism for keeping the diagnosis from the media, particularly after Clinton’s health issues have become a subject on the campaign trail in the past week. Clinton had a violent coughing fit on Labor Day, when she was almost unable to speak for several minutes.

"I can attest, Andrea, that it really is the case that there’s no other undisclosed condition," Fallon said. "The pneumonia is the extent of it, and I can also attest that her doctor has stated that there was nothing here in terms of anything that was caused by what happened in 2012. So all of that, I think, will be indicated in the further material we’re going to release later this week."

Fallon said it was the campaign’s intention to release more medical information about Clinton in the coming days, saying it would exceed the transparency of Donald Trump and his medical records.

He could not, however, tell Mitchell what kind of pneumonia Clinton has.
