MSNBC host Brian Williams gushed over President Obama's last press conference on Friday, rising to the height of eloquence by quoting Aaron Sorkin in his praise.
Williams quoted Sorkin while talking to Chuck Todd right after Obama left the White House Briefing Room.
"If you love movies and or politics, it is sometimes impossible to watch these things and not hear the words of Aaron Sorkin about the hard work of the presidency, the real work of the presidency, the view from the cheap seats, his words, not the president's," Williams said.
"This was a kind of fascinating walk through the mind and the presidency of Barack Obama among other things," Williams continued.
Aaron Sorkin is the screenwriter and producer of, among other things, the West Wing, a TV show that features a fictional Democratic president and his administration. Sorkin is also very sad Donald Trump won the election.
