Former president Bill Clinton was paid $5 million for 22 speeches in 2015, more than half of which he earned after Hillary Clinton announced her bid for the White House.
A new personal financial disclosure released Tuesday night unveiled that in the months following Hillary’s declaration last April that she would again seek the presidency, Bill brought in $2.7 million for paid speeches.
$300,000 of those earnings were raked in for a speech given in front of the Oracle Corporation in California—just four days after the former secretary of state made the announcement, Politico reported.
The documents showed that Hillary has not given a single paid speech since beginning her campaign. Her husband Bill has meanwhile spoken to groups ranging from the Wyndham Hotel Group in Las Vegas to private equity firm Apollo Management Holdings during the past year.
Hillary’s paid speeches to Wall Street firms have a become a focal point of criticism throughout her campaign. Her opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I, Vt.) has pressed the former first lady to publicly release the transcripts, but she has refused to do so.
The disclosure showed that last year the Clinton’s raked in a combined $6.725 million in paid speeches, ABC News reported. Hillary was paid a total of $1.475 million for just six speeches.
She also raked in more than $5 million in royalties from her book, "Hard Choices."
Hillary seized on her latest disclosures to revive the push for Donald Trump to release his tax returns. When a user clicks to the tax return page on her campaign’s website, a pop-up appears demanding the GOP’s presumptive presidential nominee release his returns.

Every presidential nominee since 1976 has released their tax returns, but Trump has refused.https://t.co/yA5xukG8x5
