America Rising Ad: Clinton Email Scandal Is ‘The One Thing They Can’t Control’

America Rising PAC has released a new ad that shows the progression of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal in the media on Wednesday.

The ad starts at the beginning when the New York Times broke the story of Clinton’s use of a private email server during her time as Secretary of State up until the release of the final batch of emails.

“She has one thing that is out of her control, an FBI investigation. And it is the one hurdle, this year, that is out of her control,” Chuck Todd said. “You talk to her campaign and they will tell you it’s the one thing they can’t control.”

The ad starts with Clinton’s scandal starts March 2015 and features segments of news shows talking about the scandal as well as Clinton’s press conferences were she was forced to talk about the scandal.

Clinton has often brushed off the severity of the scandal plaguing her campaign. When asked if Clinton had wiped her server clean, Clinton had joked, “with a cloth or something?”

On Tuesday, FBI Director James Comey told the House Judiciary Committee during a hearing that he was very closely involved with the FBI investigation into Clinton’s personal server.

Comey could not give details on when the investigation would be completed.

The State Department released the final tranche of emails from Clinton’s private server on Monday. The State Department had previously classified more than 1,500 emails as “classified” and labeled 22 of them as “top secret.”

Clinton has remained adamant that the emails did not contain classified information at the time that they were sent and received.
