Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) said Monday morning that President Donald Trump's condemnation of Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad's use of chemical weapons is not good enough for her, because the U.S. president has yet to condemn his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
Waters, a social media darling, took to Twitter to declare she is not distracted from an investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and Trump's campaign.
Waters claimed Trump flip-flopped on all policy issues except "his admiration of Putin."
Trump has flip flopped & been all over the place on every policy position except his admiration of Putin. I'm not distracted. #trumprussia

The California Democrat let loose, reminding her followers of the time Trump confessed his "respect" for Putin.
Putin had been helping Assad bomb civilians when Trump confessed his "respect" for Putin to Bill O'Reilly earlier this year. #TrumpRussia

She went on to tweet that Trump has never condemned Putin.
Even as Trump condemned Assad's use of chemical weapons in Syria, you have never heard him, out of his own mouth, condemn Putin #Trumprussia

The Democratic lawmaker also knocked Trump for not being "presidential."
Delivering one scripted speech before Congress & bombing another country doesn't make you presidential.

Waters has repeatedly said Trump and his associates are part of a "Kremlin Klan [sic]" that is beholden to Russian interests because of their connections to the oil and gas industry. The California representative has so far not provided evidence to support her claim.
