Graham: I'm Going to Call the ACA 'Clintoncare' From Now On

September 24, 2013

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) called out Hillary Clinton's endorsement of Obamacare on Fox News' On the Record Tuesday, telling host Greta Van Susteren he would call it "Clintoncare" from here on out in anticipation of her expected White House run.

Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, interviewed President Obama Tuesday to promote the law. At one point, the former pointed out a flaw in Obamacare’s ability to keep projected costs low, but the Clintons openly showed their support for a law that has become increasingly unpopular with the American public.

"The one story that people are not talking about is that Bill and Hillary Clinton, particularly Hillary Clinton, fully embraced Obamacare today," Graham said. "They're selling this bill as hard as they can sell it. I will never call it Obamacare anymore. I'm going to call it Clintoncare. Hillary Clinton decided today to own Obamacare, so in 2016 when this thing falls apart and the economy's in shambles, I am going to hereafter call it Clintoncare. She made a huge mistake today."
