First Daughter Tiffany Trump thanked Whoopi Goldberg on Wednesday after "The View" co-host defended her from fashion insiders who bullied her at New York Fashion Week.

The senior editor of Elle magazine, Nikki Ogunnaike, had tweeted that she and other fashion editors moved seats away from Trump and then posted pictures of her sitting alone. Goldberg and her fellow co-hosts on ABC's "The View" called their behavior "bullying," and Goldberg said she would find Trump at the next fashion show and sit next to her.

"I just thought it was mean," Goldberg said. "And you know what, I don't want to talk about your dad, but girl I will sit next to you because I've been there."

Trump responded on Twitter, writing, "Thank you @WhoopiGoldberg, I'd love to sit with you too."

Goldberg received multiple angry tweets after Trump sent her thanks, but the comedian fired back at them.

Others warned Trump not to go on "The View," speculating that Goldberg was trying to "trap" her.

But everyone seemed to agree that what the fashion editors did to Trump was bullying.
