New York Mets short stop Ruben Tejada, who had his leg broken by a dirty slide during the playoffs, awarded his World Series-bound teammates after their sweep of the Chicago Cubs with custom engraved bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label.

The bottles from Tejada were engraved with "NLCS CHAMPS 2015" and the words "Keep Walking," a reference to both Tejada's broken leg and the brand of the fantastic scotch.

"It’s been a joy to watch my teammates sweep and I wanted to congratulate them with engraved bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label," said Tejada. "We do have some work cut out for us, but today we're going to enjoy this moment as a team since we worked so hard to get here."

Though Tejada couldn't play in the teams four-game sweep of the Cubs, he has become a hero both in the locker room and to the fans in New York, who have made "Win For Ruben" a rallying call.

His players have literally carried him around on their back in the dugout, and he received one of the loudest ovations in Citi Field history when he limped out onto the field using a cane in the first game after his brutal injury.

He paid them back with whiskey for the celebration in Chicago on Wednesday night.
