Al Sharpton Versus The Teleprompter: Volume 3

September 3, 2014

Al Sharpton's teleprompter and language problems are well-documented here at the Washington Free Beacon.

The MSNBC host had a whole summer to sort these issues out by watching the tape, but we regretfully conclude Sharpton just can't get out of his own way when it comes to speaking with consistent coherence on PoliticsNation.

Names of key administration members (Eric Shinsketti?), congressmen (Rowl Labrador?) and party leaders (Reince Peebus?) have been mangled. "Giddy" became a "J" word. Counterterrorism became counter-tourism. Promising sentences turned into disastrous run-ons. The president is twiddling his thumbs, Reverend, not dwiddling them.

And his show introductions have had their share of errors as well.

In Sharpton's own words, "Is this Crownhog Day 2?"

The struggle continues.
