The administration at Cape Cod Regional Tech in Massachusetts has banned yoga pants, a sexist and terrible decision that evidence indicates should be reversed.
One student compared the tyrannical new law, made because the pants are a "distraction," to laws restricting women's rights in the Middle East.
"It’s pretty much like the same thing that’s going on in the Middle East," said a male student at Cape Cod Regional Tech. "I don’t think it’s fair that we can take something away from the girls just because it’s either distracting the guys."
The Washington Free Beacon agrees, and finds that yoga pants are terrific. They can, and should, be worn for nearly everything.
Check out golfer Paige Spirinac, one of the most spectacular female golfers in the country, who wears yoga pants to practice.
She also wears them to stretch—an important habit for any young student athlete to acquire.
These cheerleaders, who all appear to be without injury, stretch before their routine, and wear yoga pants to do it.
This is also stretching.
It is that type of stretching that is needed to prepare girls for high-intensity workouts, which are great for both physical and mental health.
But yoga pants are not just for stretching. Some likely wear the pants for comfort as they walk to school.
This girl is just walking.
And these girls are probably studying together.
Girls have to grill too, sometimes.
Dogs love yoga pants.
Girls should be free to wear whatever they want to school, because this is America.
