Thirty Six Pound Cat Found In Arizona

An animal shelter in Arizona is home to a cat weighing 36 pounds, azcentral.com reports.

The cat, named "Meatball", is not up for adoption, the shelter says, as it is looking to put Meatball into a weight-loss program.

Meatball is still 10 lbs. shy of the Guiness world record for largest cat. The average weight for a cat is 12 lbs.
