The White House released the official portraits of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday.
The photos are placed in all federal government buildings and installations and are made available by the Government Publishing Office.
These are different from Trump and Pence's painted portraits, which are typically completed after they have left office and may be displayed in the White House or the National Portrait Gallery.
Following the portraits' release, some Twitter users and media members particularly noted the fact that the president is pictured smiling.
