Rep. Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) responded to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's (D., Nev.) latest outburst against his budget and the Koch brothers Wednesday on Fox News.
Reid yesterday on the Senate floor called the latest iteration of the Path to Prosperity "Kochtopia."
The House Budget Chairman took a dig at Reid, joking the recent earthquakes in the news were probably caused by the Koch brothers too.
With respect to his budget, Ryan told Fox & Friends the House is laying out it's budget priorities in actual legislation.
"Harry Reid is not going to do that," he said.
Full remarks:
PAUL RYAN: Look, they're not producing a budget. We think we should budget. We like to be in the habit of budgeting. This will be our fourth budget in a row that we have shown the American people, here is how we're going to balance the budget. Here is how we pay off debt and give our children and grandchildren a debt free nation. Here is our plan to grow the economy, create jobs, secure national defense. This is what we should do here in Congress, which is show what we believe in and pass it. Harry Reid is not going to do that.
