President Donald Trump's brief foray into positivity on Twitter Monday drew an exasperated reaction from reporters and commentators.
Trump's new White House chief of staff, John Kelly, was sworn in Monday morning, and he quickly moved to push out communications director Anthony Scaramucci. Trump also awarded the Medal of Honor to James C. McCloughan on Monday, but he did not elaborate on why he considered it a great day.
A great day at the White House!

Reacting quickly to Trump's tweets has become a premier activity among many Twitter users, and reporters expressed bewilderment at Trump saying that Monday went well.

CNN's Chris Cillizza referred to a previous Trump tweet that addressed critics by saying there was a "no WH chaos." Some used Trump's tweet to make cultural references.

Trump did not tweet for the rest of Monday, and Tuesday morning he tweeted another positive note, this time about the stock market.
Stock Market could hit all-time high (again) 22,000 today. Was 18,000 only 6 months ago on Election Day. Mainstream media seldom mentions!
