Reason Mocks Bernie Sanders Deodorant Economics

May 28, 2015

In an interview that aired Tuesday, Bernie Sanders lamented that the reason children are starving because there is an existence of "23 underarm spray deodorants."

"You don’t necessarily need a choice of 23 underarm spray deodorants when children are hungry in this country," Sanders told John Harwood in an interview.

Reason’s Remy took to YouTube to help raise awareness of the "Bernie Sanders Save the Children Fund." Remy introduces viewers to Hannah, who was not always hungry but now is because of a new deodorant released by Old Spice.

The fictional fund is said to "work tirelessly" to remove so many deodorant choices from the market place and present consumers with one option, for the children.

One consumer asks if there were any other options, and Remy asks if the consumer is in the one percent.

"Yes, the one percent of people fatally allergic to aluminum," said the consumer.

Remy encourages viewers to call the fictional fund so that they could receive a photo of a child, but just one child because Bernie Sanders has a warped view on how economics works.
