House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) said Thursday that she likes to "be close to the children," saying they "need us all to stay close" during the Trump administration.
Pelosi came out to begin a press briefing at the Capitol when she moved a sign that was standing on an easel next to her closer to the podium.
"I like to be close to the children," said Pelosi, a vocal pro-choice advocate. "And in this administration, they need us all to stay close to them."
