President Obama repeated the false claim that Planned Parenthood provides mammograms to women, in a Friday interview with MTV's Sway.
During an interview with Jay Leno earlier in the week, Obama made the same claim.
"You’ve got issues like Planned Parenthood, where that organization provides millions of women cervical-cancer screenings, mammograms, all kinds of basic health care," Obama said Wednesday night.
The Washington Post gave the claim three pinocchios.
"To clarify, Planned Parenthood does directly provide breast exams, but only the hands-on variety that doctors administer," the Post writes. "This is different from mammograms, which require x-rays."
