A Politico report Wednesday revealed that Democrats have soured on Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, doubting her competency as a leader in the party.
Wasserman Schultz has recently proven herself gaffe-prone and has earned a reputation for prioritizing climbing the political ladder over the success of other Democrats.
According to Politico, Wasserman Schultz and Obama have barely spoken since 2011, and the Obama administration has sought to replace her in the past.
Politico reports Obama's opinion of Wasserman Schultz was "sealed" after the hiring of a donor's daughter, Dani Gilbert, whom the Washington Free Beacon revealed had posted pictures to her Facebook with her friends holding dollar bills and calling themselves "Jewbags."
