Mook on Whether Clinton Campaign Has Had Contact With Trump Accusers: ‘Not That I’m Aware Of’

Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook denied the campaign had contact with any of the women accusing Donald Trump of various forms of sexual abuse on Sunday, saying "not that I'm aware of."

CNN's Jake Tapper asked Mook if the Clinton campaign or the Democratic National Committee has had contact with any of the women who have publicly accused Trump of groping and worse in recent weeks.

"Donald Trump says that your campaign or the Democratic National Committee are behind the accusations against him of sexual misconduct," Tapper said. "I know Secretary Clinton yesterday said the charges are inaccurate. But let me put it more narrowly. Have any of these women had any contact with your campaign or the DNC?"

"These accusations are not coming from our campaign," Mook said.

"But have they had any contact?" Tapper asked.

"Not that I'm aware of. I do not know about any contact," Mook said.
