Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu has tried to distance herself from President Obama throughout her re-election campaign, but was forced to face her party leader during Tuesday’s Senate debate when he asked how she would rate the president on a scale of one to 10.
"I think he’s had some really tough issues to deal with," Landrieu said, rating Obama as at six or seven.
Landrieu’s challenger, Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy, gave Obama a "zero."
The candidates were also asked to rate Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, to which Landrieu said "three" and Cassidy said "seven."
Landrieu trails her Republican opponent by five points.
