Louisiana residents might not be pleased with an idea floated by Sen. Mary Landrieu (D., La.) in the final Louisiana Senate debate: new taxes.
"We should look at the gasoline tax," Landrieu said. "I’m not prepared to say raise it tonight, but additional funding has to be brought in to fix this infrastructure."
True to her political leaning, Landrieu floated the idea of raising taxes rather than properly allocating funds already available to the government.
