Sen. Tim Kaine (D., Va.) told Chris Wallace that the Senate will "in all likelihood" pass a House measure to fund the military in the event of a government shutdown on Fox News Sunday.

Kaine noted the bill would not cover the VA and "other important workers," but he does not believe the legislation will be "too controversial":

CHRIS WALLACE: […] Tim Kaine supports the president's healthcare reform. Senators welcome back to Fox News Sunday.

TIM KAINE: Thanks Chris.

WALLACE: Senator Kaine let me start with you, your side as Congressman McCarthy pointed out has already rejected the bill that the House passed last night.

KAINE: We'll act tomorrow, right.

WALLACE: You'll act tomorrow. Will you pass their measure which would keep funding the military in case there is a shutdown?

KAINE: Chris, in all likelihood we will. We think it is insufficient, it doesn't cover VA and other important workers, but it is necessary. I don't suspect that will be too controversial.
