John Bolton to Endorse 10 Candidates, Contribute $5K to Each

October 6, 2014

Former Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton will officially endorse one Senate candidate and nine House candidates, all Republicans, on Tuesday and the John Bolton PAC will contribute $50,000 to the candidates, sources inform the Washington Free Beacon.

Bolton will endorse former Gov. Mike Rounds in the South Dakota Senate race.

He will also endorse congressional candidates Mike Bost (Ill.), Joe Heck (Nev.), John Katko (N.Y.), Steve King (Iowa), Frank LoBiondo (N.J.), Bobby Schilling (Ill.), Steve Southerland (Fla.), Richard Tisei (Mass.), and Jackie Walorski (Ind.).

Rumors have circulated about Bolton and a potential 2016 presidential bid, something Bolton has reportedly considered. A decision would likely not be announced until after the November elections.

The John Bolton PAC and Super PAC have had significant success raising funds with a focus on foreign policy.

The PAC will give $5,000 to each candidate, many of whom have national security experience.

"We desperately need elected officials who will support foreign and defense policies and an economic philosophy that centers on a free and secure America," Bolton said when he founded his PAC.
