Rep. Steny Hoyer (D., Md.) claimed Wednesday that the biggest concern for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is that voters are not paying enough attention to her strengths.
MSNBC host Kate Snow asked Hoyer what his biggest concern for Clinton was after showing a new poll that indicates some of the voters’ main worries about the Democratic nominee.
"This is our new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll just out today. Voters were asked which of these four statements reflected their biggest concern about Hillary Clinton," Snow said. "Thirty-six percent said their biggest concern was her judgment on Iraq and Syria and Libya, 29 percent said use of her private email server was their biggest concern, nine percent said the ‘deplorables’ comment that she made was the biggest concern, and eight percent said recent health issues."
"What is your biggest concern about your candidate, Hillary Clinton?" Snow asked.
"Well, the biggest concern is, I think, the American public are not paying attention to the details, the specifics, her experience," Hoyer said. "I think she’s going to win this election. Other polls recently, as you know, have shown her to be leading by three to seven points. I think those are pretty accurate."
Hoyer later said that Donald Trump was, "dead wrong on Hillary Clinton" and continued complimenting her.
