A former contestant on Donald Trump’s reality show The Apprentice, who recently joined the Republican nominee’s campaign staff, anticipated that critics would have to "bow down" to the business mogul should he become president.

"Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump," Omarosa Manigault said in a PBS Frontline trailer released Tuesday.

Trump appointed Manigault as director of his campaign’s African-American outreach in July after working as the vice chairwoman for Trump’s National Diversity Coalition.

She told PBS that Trump was motivated to run for president "because he believes that he can help turn the nation around."

In April, six former Apprentice contestants publicly disavowed Trump’s campaign for inciting "sexism, xenophobia, racism, violence, and hate." Piers Morgan, who competed against Manigault in season one of Celebrity Apprentice and won the competition, stood up for his former boardroom boss, predicting he would clinch the White House in November.

The PBS special, called "The Choice 2016," promises an extensive look into the backgrounds of the "controversial candidates" Trump and Hillary Clinton. It is set to premier Sept. 27.
