Outgoing Sen. Jim DeMint (R., S.C.) had some choice words of praise for Rep. Tim Scott's (R., S.C.) mother, in a Monday press conference introducing Scott as South Carolina's next senator:
JIM DEMINT: I too thank your mom. I had a mom who understood that the best ideas were at the end of a switch too sometimes (laughter).
