There has been confusion over Hillary Clinton’s message when she decides to run for president. David Axelrod, President Obama’s former senior adviser, said he believes Clinton will not distance herself from Obama.
Axelrod said Clinton and Obama were close friends prior to the election and became closer when she became Secretary of State. Clinton tried to distance herself from Obama once before and it did not work out in her favor.
"She needs to define herself and where she wants to take the country in the future, and that’s the important thing," Axelrod said.
If Clinton decides to not distance herself from Obama, her message and campaign could sound like a third term for Obama.
