White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Monday told NBC hosts Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin that the media has an "obsession" with President Donald Trump’s Twitter account.
Guthrie asked Conway whether or not she thought Trump owed an apology to London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan for quoting him in a "misleading and inaccurate way," and tweeting four times in one morning about the "travel ban."

Conway said that she would not allow blame to be put on Trump in the wake of the what she said was the 23rd ISIS-inspired or directed terrorist attack.
"Here is what he’s doing as president of the United States and commander-in-chief: He’s standing firm because an attack on London is an attack on American values also. They’re our greatest ally and we stand with them. We will do whatever it takes to help them moving forward," Conway said.
Her comment on the media's "obsession with covering everything he says on Twitter and very little of what he does as president" was cut short as Melvin interjected, claiming that Trump’s preferred method of communication with the American people is Twitter.
