Hillary Clinton coughed at her campaign rally Friday afternoon and had to take a cough drop to continue touting her accomplishments.
Clinton spoke at a campaign event in Fort Pierce, Florida to bolster support for her bid for the White House.
The Democratic nominee has been recovering from her bout with pneumonia for three weeks. The public became aware of Clinton’s illness after she fainted at a 9/11 memorial in New York City.
"I’m trying to end the campaign with issues that are really close to my heart," Clinton said with a raspy voice. She cleared her throat a few times before letting out a cough. The former secretary of state stood at the podium gazing and smiling at the audience while she unwrapped her trusty cough drop.
Clinton’s health has come under scrutiny over the course of her campaign.
