Gov. Chris Christie (R., N.J.) slammed Democrats for failing to remember President Obama’s horrid stimulus package during an interview Wednesday.
"They [Democrats] squandered the stimulus on things that were for their constituencies, rather than building infrastructure," Christie said on CNBC.
He decried Democrats’ latest calls for more money to be allocated to infrastructure.
"Where were you back in 2009 when we were allowing the government to spend all this money in the midst of a financial crisis?’ Christie asked Democrats.
"Now you want to spend more. Where is this money coming from exactly?" he added, before suggesting that the federal government slow down the spending.
