The House vote regarding Attorney General Eric Holder’s failure to turn over Fast and Furious documents is expected to take place tomorrow, and it will not fall along party lines, as at least four Democrats are prepared to vote with the Republicans to hold Holder in contempt of Congress.
National Journal reports:
Rep. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., plans to vote yes, his press secretary confirmed to the Alley.
Rep. Jim Matheson, D-Utah, was the first to announce he's going with the Republicans on this one.
Rep. John Barrow, D-Ga., issued a statement announcing his "yes" vote on contempt. "While Republicans and Democrats argue over the scope of the people's right to know what happened, the Attorney General has decided to withhold relevant documents," he wrote.
And Rep. Nick Rahall, D-W.V., is voting yes, reports Fox News.
Rep. Darrell Issa predicted that as many as 31 Democrats might vote against the Attorney General.
