Vice President Joe Biden told a couple jokes Thursday about Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel before his formal swearing in to that position.
"Gen. Dempsey told me the truth, though, Chuck," Biden said. "The reason why all the combat commanders are in town is they didn't believe it. They wanted to see it firsthand whether this was really true."
