Barber: DOJ Shouldn’t Get Involved in Schools’ Zero Tolerance Policies

The Washington Free Beacon’s Ellison Barber joined Fox News’ The Kelly File Monday to discuss the Department of Justice’s recent involvement in schools’ zero-tolerance policies.

Barber said that zero-tolerance is "a policy that limits what teachers can do for disciplining. They have no leeway or discretion," and for that reason the premise of the policy should be challenged.

"That being said," Barber continued, "I don’t like the federal government being involved" as the debate over the policy "should be solved at the local level."
