Appearing Confused, Obama Takes 6 Minutes At Voting Machine To Cast Ballot

President Obama appeared confused Monday morning while voting early in his home district Chicago. The process took Obama more than six minutes to complete.

Obama has voted both absentee and in-person throughout his presidency, and returned to his home city to make a "full-court press" for Democratic candidates in Illinois.

Obama entered the Martin Luther King, Jr., Community Center in Chicago to vote. He stumbled over the voting machines and required a bit of help from polling volunteers before filling out his ballot.

The president voted for local, state, and federal candidates via electronic ballot. He refused to disclose his votes.

The Illinois gubernatorial race is arguably the most highly contested race in the state this election cycle. Obama and the first lady campaigned for Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn.
