CNN's Jim Acosta made a horrible Halloween joke on Friday shortly after the White House press briefing as he criticized the Trump administration.
During the briefing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders sparred with reporters over Hillary Clinton regarding a controversial uranium deal while she ran the State Department, and Acosta hit Sanders for not providing evidence of Trump's charges that Clinton had colluded with the Russians.
Behind Acosta were children preparing to trick-or-treat in the Oval Office.
"Perhaps there will be some trick-or-treating going on in the Oval Office, but I think there might have been a fair amount of that going on here in the briefing room a few moments ago, Brooke," Acosta said.
Oof.
Host Brooke Baldwin proposed that someone could go dressed up as Acosta for Halloween.
The only frightening thing on Friday was Acosta's "joke."
