Rep. Mike Rogers (R., Mich.) slammed the Obama administration Monday for not informing Congress about the Bergdahl prisoner exchange.
Rogers called the administrations actions "ludicrous" and said he plans to conduct a thorough review of the release, which he described as a "political stunt."
"The Obama administration decided the Obama administration did not have to call Congress. This is absolutely ludicrous," Rogers said on Fox & Friends.
"The notion that this was so sensitive that people couldn’t keep a secret is just wrong and it's illegal. They have a thirty-day notice under the law to notify Congress about the moving of prisoners. They have a constitutional and legal statute to keep Congress currently informed," he added.
