Obama Campaign Owes University of Vermont $40,000

The Obama campaign owes the University of Vermont $40,000 after a March fundraiser, the school says. WCAX reports:

The bills keep racking up for President Obama's fundraising trip to Vermont.

The president made a quick trip to the Green Mountains on March 30. He attended two fundraisers in just four hours. One was in Patrick Gym at the University of Vermont.

Now, UVM says the Obama campaign owes the school $40,000 for everything from renting the facility to cleaning up after the event.

Earlier this month, South Burlington and Burlington Police reported that the campaign still owed them more than $3,000 for security during the president's Vermont trip.
