McCain 'Convinced' WH Made Sure Susan Rice Blamed Attack on Anti-Islam Video

Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) discussed his letter to the White House questioning claims President Obama made about Benghazi in his interview with Bill O'Reilly Thursday on Fox News.

McCain accused President Obama of perpetuating several important falsehoods in the interview, particularly at what point the White House was aware that Benghazi was a terrorist attack.

The Arizona senator acknowledged Obama will not likely respond to the letter, but emphasized he believes it is important to keep pressuring the administration.

Moreover, McCain added he is absolutely "convinced" someone in the White House ensured Susan Rice made the false claims on Sunday talk shows attributing the terrorist attack to an anti-Islam video:

JOHN MCCAIN: On talking points, can I just say I am convinced that it was someone in the White House that made sure that Susan Rice made those outlandish statements she made on every Sunday talk show.

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: Do you believe -- let me ask you a blunt question, that the president was deliberately deceitful in the interview with Bill O'Reilly with the responses on Benghazi.

MCCAIN: The president knows better and I think that obviously he said things that have been to be false.
