Israeli poll: Jews Support Romney, Arabs Obama

A poll of Israelis that will be released tomorrow finds a strong preference among Israeli Jews for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and a strong preference among Israeli Arabs for Democratic President Barack Obama.
Asked who they prefer to be U.S. president, the poll found Israeli Jews support Romney over Obama 57% to 22%. By contrast, Israeli Arabs support Obama by 45% to 15% for Romney.
The survey, conducted by Tel Aviv University and the Israel Democracy Institute, found Romney winning 70% of self-identified members of the right, 54% of centrists, and 30% of self-identified members of the left. The full results will be published tomorrow.
