Ukrainian riot police moved against Pro-European Union demonstrators Tuesday night, as protests continued in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.
Police cleared streets surrounding the protesters' camp, bulldozed tents, and clashed with protesters in their most aggressive push against the demonstrators.
The police eventually withdrew from the camp on Wednesday.
The protests are well into their third week. Protesters are angry that Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych backed out of a European Union trade deal, moving the country closer to Russia.
The Washington Free Beacon assembled five photos from Tuesday night's clash between Ukrainian protesters and riot police.
