The FBI and NYPD investigators are searching the home of notorious mob boss James "Jimmy The Gent" Burke, who was played by Robert De Niro in the movie "Goodfellas," for possible human remains and evidence in decades-old mob crimes.
Burke, who is no longer alive, was believed to be the architect of the 1978 Lufthansa terminal heist at Kennedy Airport in which thieves made off with more than $5 million in cash, $1 million in jewels, which at the time was the largest robbery in history.
