Cantor: We've Got to Play to Win Here

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R., Va.) said the U.S. needed to implement tax reforms that made the country more attractive to investors Friday on CNBC, saying "we've got to play to win here."

"We can't just sit on the fact that we're America and we are always going to be the best," Cantor said.  "No. We've got to go compete, which is why we are always talking about creating the conditions for investment making it so people with capital say, 'Hey, it is a good time to take a risk.' That's why we are working to ... facilitate tax reform. The problem is the president continues to say, 'No, we've just got to raise more taxes.' And given the way you score things in Washington, every time you want more revenue, it's hard to bring rates down and compete."
