Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) on Tuesday said the Obama administration's decision to negotiate with the Taliban to free Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl could put American lives at risk and it violates a a long-standing U.S. policy to not negotiate with terrorists.
"We have violated that policy and as result, we've made Americans less safe here and all around the world," Boehner said. "There is not any doubt in my mind that there are going to be costs, lost lives associated with what came out of this."
