A rancher on the Arizona-Mexico border blamed Vice President Kamala Harris for the influx of drug smugglers and illegal immigrant crossings into the United States through his property, the New York Post reported.

"Kamala, you’re not helping anything. You’re hurting us," cattle rancher Tyler Klump said.

Tapped to be President Joe Biden’s point-person on the border crisis, Harris has faced increased criticism for her failed border policies which have led to 7.8 million migrants illegally crossing the border under her watch. Klump told the Post that, although migrant crossings dropped in July, the migrant traffic on his property is "as high as it’s ever been."

Klump said that migrants cut through his ranch and often dispose of water bottles, backpacks, and shoes, as well as ladders used to scale the border wall, the Post reported. Klump noted that if he doesn’t clean up the migrants’ mess on his property, the garbage can be dangerous to his cows.

"It directly affects my cattle and my livelihood … It has killed my cattle. I’ve lost a substantial amount of money," Klump said.

Arizona has been a hotspot for drug smugglers under the Biden-Harris administration. In 2022, half of the fentanyl seized in the United States was found in the state. Last week, border authorities in the Grand Canyon State had their largest seizure of the drug in agency history, seizing four million fentanyl pills.

Klump’s property is known as a "smuggler’s paradise" as its sparse population and hills are attractive to cartel operatives.

"You’re very much putting money in the hands of the cartels and putting money in the hands of a lot of people, but you’re darn sure not helping out your constituents," Klump said, speaking of Harris.

Klump is supporting Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, saying that he’s appreciative of the border wall that the former president built along his property, according to the Post.

A Monday congressional report found that the Department of Homeland Security released nearly 100 illegal immigrants on the terrorist watch list into the United States under the Biden-Harris administration.
