NBC White House reporter Chuck Todd spoke with Matt Lauer on The Today Show Thursday about the disastrous Obamacare rollout and Democrats' panicked reaction.
"Right now you have Democrats on Capitol Hill in a full panic," he said. "They’ve been nervous about this rollout, they’ve been upset about the website, but now it’s a full-on panic. Even before they rolled out the official enrollment numbers, a whole bunch of them had been venting…"
Todd explained that Democrats have made repeated trips to the White House to express their discontent with the broken promises and glitches. Democrats want to take matters into their own hands now and remedy the situation, most likely through some type of vote. The White House would like to avoid a showdown with Congress, but Congress seems intent on fixing things quickly.
