FNC and syndicated radio host Sean Hannity discussed The Washington Free Beacon's recent report on an NIH grant funding a study on lesbian obesity Friday on "The Sean Hannity Show."

Hannity cited the study's apparent survival of sequester cuts as evidence the automatic budget reductions at NIH and elsewhere in the federal government are not having the draconian effects the Obama administration warned they would have:

SEAN HANNITY: Remember, the NIH warned that sequestration budget cuts could delay medical breakthroughs, but they did spend $2.2 million to study lesbian obesity. [...] Really, that's how we're going to spend our money? You've got to be kidding me.
