CBS: WH Admits ‘When World Was Watching It Was Missing in Action’, But No Mention from Obama

Press Secretary Josh Earnest and other Obama Administration spokespeople have repeatedly admitted that they should have sent someone with a higher profile. The Secret Service also told CBS's Major Garrett that they were not told to put together a travel plan for any senior ranking official.

Garrett aptly summarized the White House admission saying, "when the world was watching, [the White House] was missing in action."

President Obama made multiple appearances yesterday. One at the Federal Trade Commission and another welcoming the San Antonio Spurs. There were jokes and laughs at both events but no mention of expressing sympathy to the people of France or that he even watched the historic march on Sunday.
