The Washington Free Beacon‘s Ellison Barber appeared on Fox News Tuesday to discuss another Obamacare problem for the White House: whether the administration efforts to fix healthcare.gov have helped the functionality of the site.
Barber argued that there is not enough information available to make the determination of whether the site is working properly.
"They put out this HHS progress report this weekend and if you look at it, all it dealt with was the surface level issues, of how quickly people able to enroll. They didn't address things people have called back end issues like problems with the 834 EDI transmissions, which is the information you are passing along to insurance. So, I would say the report out does not provide enough evidence or data to actually determine whether or not it is fixed, and if you’re not going to put out a progress report that looks at the entire operation of the system, I don’t think you can say, or making the determination that the website is fixed."
