Sports Metaphor Fail: Ronan Farrow Refers to Basketball 'Start-Up Line'

He meant starting lineup

MSNBC host Ronan Farrow tried out a sports metaphor during his show's introduction Tuesday, but it got a bit muddled.

Seemingly trying to refer to a "starting line-up" in basketball while discussing the Donald Sterling saga, Farrow quipped, "A hotly anticipated NBA news conference where the league has an opportunity to prove it doesn't need racists in its start-up line."

The Free Beacon isn't sure what a start-up line is, but NBA star Dikembe Mutombo is not pleased with this error.
